Wildwood Park For The Arts

Wildwood began in 1973 as the Arkansas Opera Theatre, the state's only professional opera company. Wildwood Park for the Performing Arts opened in 1989 with the gift of land from Deltic Timber Company, and the annual Wildwood Festival began in 1991. In addition to the Lucy Lockett Cabe Festival Theatre completed in 1996 and the outdoor stage, the park now includes the eight acre Swan Lake and a number of lavish gardens.
